How I met Susie Bright
I cornered her at BlogHer and asked for a hug… she gives wonderful hugs. She also gave me a “Clits Up!” button, which I proudly sport on my backpack.

I met Dori very, very, VERY briefly in the lounge at the Hilton Austin Downtown during SXSW.
I made a total ass of myself because I didn’t remember that I had met her before. I’m blaming it on too much Korean rice wine.
missmartini informed me and my boyfriend (who met her at the same time) that we were “So cute,” and that she “totally love(d) you guys right now.”
she’s adorable in her own right, and we had fun hanging with her.
I just met him at SXSW. I asked Molly if she could make an introduction. She did, after flagging me down in the hotel lobby.
He was very nice, but I wasn’t sure what to say to him beyond “Hi, nice to meet you.” So I babbled something and left in what I think was an awkward moment with the (true) excuse that I had to meet friends for dinner.
It was a cool year. I’m in my first grown-up and healthy relationship (that will probably end in marriage). I got a raise. I made some extra money freelancing. I cut my living expenses. Good year.
Tiffany showed up at SXSW and became a star. Gotta love that.
She’s now one of the key voices in the blog-world talking about women in tech, web tech itself and wine.
What else do you want?
So I can give him a slap up for walking away from his show. I need some unfettered, gut-busting laughter in my life.
We crossed paths at ConvergeSouth in Greensboro, NC. I like her politics. She’s quite cool.
